Job summary

Culina Group Limited is hiring an Operations Controller for the Minworth site on a full-time basis. The role supports the day-to-day warehouse operations, managing inbound receipts and outbound loads to meet schedules. Nights are 6pm–6am on a 4-on/4-off cycle, with a £2,000 night allowance.

Responsibilities include outbound scheduling, staff instruction, and accurate paperwork processing. You will liaise with drivers and Shift Managers to minimise disruption and contribute to continuous

• Proven experience within a similar fast-paced role.
• Ability to prioritise work based on scheduling and available resources.
• PC literate in Word, Excel and Outlook with high attention to detail.
• Must be a team player who can work on your own initiative.
• In-depth knowledge of on-site systems.
• Experience and good working knowledge of Autostore and RF kit.
• Strong communication skills with a courteous, professional attitude.

• Participating as an active member of the operations team and suggesting improvements.
• Maintaining good communication with transport providers to avoid late collections and delivery failures.
• Producing a thorough handover to the following shift with potential issues and reminders.

As part of our, Contract division, we have an exciting opportunity to join the team asan Operations Controller to at our Minworth site on a full time permanent basis.

Salary: £27,000- £29,000 per annum plus £2,000 night allowance.

Working hours: 4 on 4 off nights, 6pm-6am.

As the Operations Controller, you will contribute to the success of the site by supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring that all schedules for inbound receipts and outbound loads are run efficiently.

Responsibilities of the Operations Controller include:

• - Efficiently managing the outbound schedule to ensure collection and delivery times are met.


• - Issuing instructions to designated staff to maintain a smooth flow of inbound and outbound work.


• - Controlling paperwork for outbound vehicles, ensuring 100% accuracy.


• - Being the initial point of contact for all drivers arriving on site.


• - Communicating issues to Shift Managers in a timely manner to minimise disruption to the schedule.


• - Participating as an active member of the operations team, and to offer suggestions for solving problems, improving efficiency, customer and quality focus.


• - Maintaining good communication with transport providers to ensure late collections and delivery failures are avoided.


• - Producing a thorough, detailed handover to the following shift highlighting potential issues, reminders and current state of play.

Qualifications

What you’ll need ...

• - Strong communication skills with the ability to demonstrate a courteous and professional attitude towards customers and third party hauliers.


• - Excellent time management skills and ability to solve problems.
