Are you an experienced Transport Planner with a background in air cargo and a passion for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of perishable goods? Join our dynamic team at our Slough-based freight forwarding company, where we specialise in handling and transporting temperature-sensitive products such as flowers, fresh vegetables, fruits, and pharmaceutical goods. With a 24/7 service, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional quality and care to our clients.

Location: Slough, SL1 3DR

Shift Pattern: Night Shift 7pm-7am (4 on, 4 off)

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the transport of perishable goods to ensure timely delivery while maintaining temperature-controlled environments.
• Communicate effectively with HMRC, GMA, drivers, colleagues, and authorities to ensure compliance with regulations and smooth operations.
• Manage the movement of cargo across the EU-UK frontier, adhering to current regulations and customs requirements.
• Utilise Descartes, HACCP, and Sequoia systems efficiently to streamline processes.
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with drivers, customers, and stakeholders.
