Job summary

Saab UK, part of Scandinavia's defence leader, seeks an Operations Manager to drive governance, compliance and coordination across the BlueBear operations in Bedfordshire. You will oversee trials, process standardisation and performance reporting, ensuring alignment with Saab UK standards and UK regulations.

The role demands strong leadership, risk management, and experience with ISO quality systems, plus the ability to implement new compliance standards and improvements across the organisation.

• Familiarity with quality management systems and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement across the organisation to high standards.
• Be the focal point for process standardisation and quality system compliance.
• Coordinate export control, health & safety, and security responsibilities with Saab UK.
• Develop and monitor KPIs aligned to the Strategic Business Plan.
• Capture customer feedback and track changes to drive improvements.
• Lead internal training on operational excellence and risk management.
