TXM Recruit is supporting a leading UK technology and defence organisation in the recruitment of a junior Operations Centre Analyst.

This is an excellent opportunity for an IT graduate, junior service desk professional, or technically minded customer‑service specialist looking to build a career in IT operations.

You’ll join a supportive team responsible for monitoring business‑critical systems, responding to incidents and helping ensure the smooth running of daily operations.

Full support will be provided as you develop your technical knowledge and become familiar with the organisation’s systems and processes.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Monitoring servers, systems, and operational alerts.

What We’re Looking For

This is a junior opportunity, so extensive commercial IT experience is not essential. We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate:

Working Arrangements

The role will initially operate on a Monday‑to‑Friday day shift from 7:00am until 3:00pm. Once fully trained, the successful candidate will be expected to move onto the team’s shift pattern and provide occasional additional shift coverage when required. This is a fully on‑site position based in Havant, with no regular travel required.

Contract Details

• £20.00 per hour.
• Inside IR35.
• Initial six‑month contract.
• Opportunity for the assignment to become a rolling contract.
• Structured training and support from an established operational team.
• Potential for a rate review once fully trained and established in the role.
• Two‑stage interview process: Microsoft Teams followed by an on‑site interview.

Due to the nature of the work, the successful candidate must be able to complete BPSS screening before starting.
