Job Description
As the Operations Care Manager, you will be responsible for the operational day-to-day management of the service, ensuring continued compliance with relevant legislation. Working in partnership with the Managing Director/Registered Manager and with colleagues in the senior management team, you will ensure the provision of a high-quality service that meets individual needs and organisational priorities within available resources.

- To work under the direction of the Managing Director/Registered Manager, monitor the service, and supervise the work of the Care Team.
- To provide leadership for care service delivery to ensure quality and cost-effective services.
- To deputise for the Managing Director as required.
- To maximise the financial performance of the company while maintaining high standards of service delivery, in accordance with legal and professional standards.
- To contribute to the strategic, operational, and business development of the company.
- Work alongside the Managing Director to maximise resource utilisation, including staff training.
- To take responsibility for health and safety compliance and adherence to internal and external audit standards.
- To identify business development opportunities, such as new service lines and the further development of existing services.
- To monitor key performance indicators to ensure the delivery of safe, personalised services through assessment, person-centred planning, and regular reviews.
- To support service users in creating personalised care plans and risk assessments in line with legislation including the Health & Social Care Act 2014, CQC standards, and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
- To promote quality care and support to service users, enhancing their functioning and quality of life.
- To monitor, review, and audit service delivery, conduct assessments to meet legislation, and complete all necessary care planning and service user documentation.
- To ensure data collected is transferred to the company's IT systems promptly and professionally.
- To work within the requirements of UK Care Standards Acts, The Working Time Directive, and related regulations and standards.
- To ensure adequate service delivery and adherence to company policies by:
- Promoting and participating in regular team meetings.
- Performing spot checks on service delivery.
- Regularly monitoring service delivery.
- Reviewing and developing work time assessments.
To maintain confidentiality regarding service users' affairs and company policies.To ensure all staff and service users are aware of emergency procedures and relevant contacts, and that information on the company IT system is regularly audited.To support the care team with advice, guidance, and training.To ensure equal opportunities guidelines are followed, providing care equitably regardless of political opinion, re-assignment status, or physical and financial circumstances.
