*This is a 12m Fixed Term Contract*

We are looking for an Operations Assistant to join the Think Business Finance team, the specialist business finance division of Bionic, the UK's leading business comparison and switching service.

At Think Business Finance, we assist small and medium-sized UK businesses in accessing quick, flexible funding to support growth, investment, and success. As part of Bionic, our mission is to make it significantly easier to operate a small business through a combination of excellent human service, innovative technology, and data.

Our Operations Assistants are crucial to our success, serving as the backbone of our team, ensuring smooth daily operations. This role supports our sales agents and ensures applications are processed efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities
  • Review applications thoroughly to ensure accuracy and completeness before submission to lenders.
  • Monitor active applications, ensuring timely progress and resolution.
  • Assist the sales team by matching clients with suitable lenders and providing current product knowledge.
  • Update team members on application statuses and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain strong relationships with lenders, collaborating closely to achieve optimal results.
  • Negotiate funding offers with lenders on behalf of clients.
  • Gather necessary documents or information from sales agents or clients as requested by lenders.
  • Manage the shared inbox, ensuring queries and tasks are addressed promptly.
  • Keep the ThinkApp updated to reflect the current status of each application.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Confident communicator, clear and concise, comfortable working with internal teams and external partners.
  • Problem-solver who remains calm under pressure and thinks quickly.
  • Proactive, seeking continuous process improvements.
  • Technologically adept, quick to learn new systems and tools.
  • Experience in administration, operations, or support roles preferred, especially in fast-paced or customer-focused environments.
