Job summary

Forest Holidays Delamere Forest is seeking an Operations Assistant to help keep cabins and facilities in top condition and to ensure guests have a seamless stay in a tranquil woodland setting.

The role combines hands-on maintenance with outdoor work, requiring teamwork, reliability, and a genuine love for the outdoors. Shifts vary from 9am–5pm or 12:30pm–8:30pm, averaging 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• A positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate with colleagues.
• Great attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
• Some previous experience in a similar role (advantageous).
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hot tubs are maintained and in working order daily.
• Perform general maintenance tasks using basic tools and decorating tasks.
• Deliver daily tasks promptly and with high quality.
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests.
• Adhere to brand standards and Forest Feeling for guests.

• Location:Delamere (Cheshire)
• Salary:£12.71 per hour
• Working Hours:Average of 40 hours per week: week 1 - 48 hours/ week 2 - 32 hours
• Days of Work:Week 1 - 6 days, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday,Friday, Saturday and Sunday(48 hours) / Week 2 - 4 days, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday(32 hours) - Shifts covering either 9am - 5pm or 12.30pm - 8.30pm.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Operations Assistant to join our lovelyteamatDelamere Forest.

Our cabins at Delamere are tucked away in the largest woodland area in Cheshire. A peaceful escape under starry skies, surrounded by nature and designed to help guests unwind, recharge, and reconnect.

About the OperationsAssistant Role:

As our Operations Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of keeping our Forest location running smoothly behind the scenes. From maintaining our cabins to ensuring every facility is in top condition, your work plays a vital role in creating a seamless and enjoyable stay for every guest.

Set within a peaceful woodland environment, this role offers a refreshing alternative to typical maintenance positions. You’ll enjoy a balanced work schedule while working outdoors and as part of a supportive team, all while contributing to the unique Forest Holidays experience.

You’ll take a hands‑on approach to a variety of operational tasks, ensuring everything is safe, functional, and ready for guests to enjoy from the moment they arrive.

Your Responsibilities:

• Ensuring hot tubs are in perfect working order every day for our guests.
• Completing general maintenance tasks, including using tools, fixing machinery, and decorating (basic knowledge desirable).
• Paying attention to the little details and delivering daily tasks in a timely and competent manner.
• Taking pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
• Following brand standards to ensure every guest experiences the Forest Feeling from the moment they step into their cabin

What Are We Looking For?

Our ideal Operations Assistant will be adynamic individualwho applies a can-do attitude to solve any issues that may arise on location. You will be a team player, capable of building good working relationships with colleagues. Alove for the outdoors is essential as these tasks need completing rain or shine every day of the year.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Some previous experience in a similar role.
• Comfortable working independently.

• A full clean UK driving license.
