Plumb Centre, part of the Wolseley Group, is hiring an Operations Assistant in Leeds. You will pick and pack in the warehouse, drive a 3.5t van when required, and help in all branch areas to meet customer needs.

This permanent, full-time position offers 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–17:00pm with a 1-hour break, and benefits including annual leave, pension, and bonuses.

• Warehouse experience is essential.
• Full UK driving license required.
• Able to handle a physically demanding job.

Responsibilities

• Working within the warehouse picking/packing goods.
• Driving the 3.5t van when required.
• Putting away deliveries into allocated areas.
• Assisting the team in all areas of the branch including the trade counter and where needed to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Manual handling and using lifting equipment.
• This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00am - 17:00pm with 1hrs break.
