English Wine Expert & Operations Manager @ Knightor Winery

Spanning winery production, sales, and events, this role offers variety and personal development opportunities.

Located near St Austell, we are an innovative winery with a portfolio of premium English wines, vermouths, and a renowned events venue, voted Cornwall's best wedding venue two years in a row.

We seek an enthusiastic and organized Operations Assistant to join our team, working closely with the Operations Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Conducting wine tastings for retail and trade clients on-site and at events
2. Supporting winery operations such as bottling, labeling, vineyard work, and retail sales
3. Processing B2B and B2C orders and resolving delivery issues
4. Providing administrative support, producing reports, and managing emails

Requirements:

1. Experience in hospitality or the wine industry
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
3. WSET qualifications are desirable; passion for wine is essential
4. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, including proficiency with spreadsheets
5. Flexibility to work weekends and evenings
6. Full UK driving license for travel to venues and events
7. Ability to lift up to 25kg safely
