Job summary

Mars Apprenticeship in Plymouth offers a 3-year pathway into a Level 3 Food and Drink Technical Operator qualification with real-world experience, training, and progression toward a Lead Operator role. The programme provides a starting salary of £21,000 per year, with increases upon each academic year, plus an annual bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at grade C/4 or above in Maths, English and three other subjects.
• Interest in leadership and hands-on work.
• 16+ by 31 August 2027.

Responsibilities

• Learn to identify and solve machine and process issues to improve efficiency and reliability across operations.
• Gain experience coordinating small teams of operators and temporary staff, learning how to motivate and manage people to meet production goals.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained across all processes.
