Operations and Maintenance Senior Account Manager

About the job:

The Operations and Maintenance Senior Account Manager is responsible for overseeing the O&M services for key accounts within the Company. This includes managing client relationships, ensuring efficient service delivery, and optimizing operational processes to meet client needs and contractual obligations. You will be the primary contact for our most important, long-term Operations and Maintenance clients.

Ecovision has extensive experience in designing, installing, and managing rooftop solar PV portfolios across the UK, with over 5,500 systems installed and more than 19,000 managed installations (63MWp capacity). Our clients include Portfolio Investors, Councils, and Housing Associations. We focus on maximizing renewable energy output while minimizing operational costs.

What you’ll do:

Main Responsibilities

Build and retain strong client relationships:

  • Respond to client correspondence
  • Hold regular review meetings
  • Deliver client presentations and performance reviews
  • Conduct annual surveys and address feedback
  • Manage contract renewals proactively
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention

Manage contracts with clients:

  • Coordinate operational activities and planned work
  • Ensure service levels and policies are followed
  • Deliver on contractual requirements proactively

Contract Management:

  • Compile and provide reports to clients
  • Share management information via portals
  • Forecast budgets and operations
  • Manage performance guarantees and LDs
  • Oversee stock levels and exception management
  • Coordinate supplier quotes and completion of exception work
  • Support invoicing, credit control, and debt management
  • Analyze performance data for improvements
  • Implement identified improvements
  • Apply contractual inflation uplifts
  • Manage FiT submissions and OFGEM compliance

Onboarding and Upselling:

  • Gather and review asset data from clients
  • Identify upselling opportunities

Database management:

  • Maintain Salesforce and EAMS II Asset Register data

Other Account Management duties:

  • Identify risks and opportunities
  • Implement efficiency improvements
  • Draft and implement process maps

Other duties:

The post holder may undertake other reasonable duties as requested by their Line Manager.

What you’ll need:

Skills and experience:

  • Proven success in managing commercial contracts and B2B accounts (>£250,000 pa)
  • Experience upselling services to existing clients
  • Supply chain and subcontractor management experience
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver on objectives
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Advanced Excel and database skills
  • Knowledge of rooftop solar installation/maintenance (desirable)
  • Interest in Solar PV operations and maintenance

Location: Ecovision, Quedgeley, Gloucestershire. Commutable to the Head Office.

Hours: 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday.

Salary: Up to £40,000/year.
