Job summary

Tutti Bambini, now part of Heroes, is seeking an Ops Administrator – Order Controller for our Milton Keynes warehouse. You will manage orders from release to despatch, maintain system accuracy and handle carrier bookings, reporting, and admin tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires high organisation, attention to detail and proactive problem solving in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Proven administrative or order processing experience.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
• Experience with a WMS/ERP system (OrderWise preferred).
• Strong Excel skills and data handling abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily order book — releasing, prioritising and tracking orders through to despatch.
• Ensure all orders received before the daily cut-off are progressed for same-day despatch; escalate exceptions.
• Manage SRNs and ensure spares are processed and despatched the same day.
• Book carrier collections, produce despatch documentation and manage delivery windows for key accounts.
• Track consignments through to delivery and raise claims for failures or damages.
• Keep the WMS accurate and up to date.
• Support goods receipt booking and discrepancy handling.
• Maintain audit trails for operational documentation.
• Produce daily/weekly/monthly reports on volumes and performance.
• Maintain rota, holiday and hours records; raise purchase requisitions.
• Provide general admin support to the Operations Manager and Supervisors.
