Henderson Group in Newtownabbey is seeking an Operations Trainer to deliver practical and classroom training across forklift, MEWP, and safety programmes, helping learners work safely and to high standards.

You will assess competence, maintain records, and drive continuous improvement while building strong relationships with learners and stakeholders. This role offers a 36.5-hour week, hybrid working, and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years operating forklift trucks or mechanical handling equipment.
• Experience delivering training or coaching.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient IT skills with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical and classroom-based training in FLT, MEWP, Working at Height, Warehouse & Operational Safety, Mechanical Handling Equipment.
• Assess learner competence, provide constructive feedback and support individual development.
• Maintain accurate training records, certification and documentation.
• Promote health, safety, legal and compliance standards, including GDPR.
• Build strong relationships with learners, customers and stakeholders.
• Keep up to date with industry best practice and support continuous improvement.
• Contribute to business growth through excellent service and strong learner outcomes.
• Support wider business needs and undertake other duties as required.
