Job summary

XPO is recruiting an Operational Trainer for the British Gypsum site in Gotham. This full-time role offers the chance to advance your career within XPO while delivering essential training to our drivers on-site or in classrooms.

You will lead inductions, refresher and QHSE training and champion health and safety. You’ll also mentor step-up team members and help develop talent at the site.

Responsibilities

• Deliver key training material to drivers at the site, in person or classroom.
• Lead site inductions for new starters and refresher/QHSE training.
• Promote health and safety to ensure a safe operating environment.
• Support senior team members in staff development at the site.

Were looking to pay up to £38,000 per annum dependent on experience. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. Responsibilities

What youll do on a typical day:

• Deliver key training material to drivers at the site either on the site or in a classroom environment
• Be involved in site inductions to new starters, refresher training and QHSE training
• Be an advocate for health & safety ensuring we are always operating in a safe environment
• Support our step-up members of the team in their development at the site
