Job summary

XPO Logistics is seeking a night‑shift driver to support our Saint Gobain contract. The role involves direct deliveries between depots, driving new equipment and trailers, and working in a safety‑driven environment under FORS standards.

The position is PAYE with a nightly rate of £18.19 and potential for overtime shifts. The ideal candidate holds a full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement, up to six penalty points, a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card, and a strong knowledge of the UK

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (C+E) required.
• Penalty points must not exceed six.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card required.
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network expected.

• Drive new equipment and pull new trailers.

• No manual handling; loads tipped by clients.

You'll be supporting our Saint Gobain contract on a Monday to Friday shift pattern, working the night shift. The roles are direct deliveries and not multi-drop. Weekend overtime is also available, In return for your hard work, we’ll offer you a competitive hourly rate of £18.19 for nights. Pro Rata this is equal to £45,402.24 basic for night shift with the opportunity to work extra shifts on top! The role is PAYE and unfortunately, we cannot accept Ltd Companies.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

• Making Interwork deliveries between British Gypsum depots
• You will be driving new equipment and pulling new trailers
• Our sites are Gold Standard FORS compliant and you will be working in an environment that is highly safety driven
• No manual handling, all loads tipped by clients

What You Need To Succeed At XPO

• We’ll need you to have a full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement),
• You’ll have no more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
