Our Network and Telecommunications team has a fantastic opportunity for a Support Administrator to join them.

Appointment to this role will be as a 12 month fixed term contract.

The role can be based from either Preston or Salford, your working week will be split across the two locations.

Our Role

This role provides support to a team of engineers and technicians to ensure that challenging service levels are met. This is in projects, maintenance and fault repair of the telecommunication networks.

As the Support Administrator you will provide a full administrative support service which includes:

  • Managing the team mailbox, resolving queries, requests and issues;
  • Managing the purchasing processes that support activities in both projects and operations;
  • Collating data for field team packs of work;
  • Supporting the team with financial administrative tasks including project forecast data inputting and checking;
  • Supporting the team with project administrative tasks including noting actions and chasing action resolution with various stakeholders;
  • Inputting, collating and checking of data to enable reporting and statistics creation;
  • Managing Telemetry and Telecoms standby rota updates.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience of Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access;
  • Knowledge of SAP and CAD (desirable);
  • Knowledge of Sunrise and NMS (DMD) Fault recording and asset record updates (desirable);
  • The ability to prioritise your own workload and work to deadlines;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written;
  • The ability to engage at all levels within the organisation.
