Job description

Job Title: Service Coordinator

The Service Coordinator will collaborate with our administrative and clinical service teams, working closely with our Clinical Leads. To succeed, you should be passionate about enhancing patient care and creating a positive working environment for our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate administrative services to support clinical teams and assist in achieving performance metrics.
  2. Support continuous improvement of hospital services to ensure optimal patient care and a supportive workplace.
  3. Develop skills and knowledge in a supportive environment, preparing for future career progression.
  4. Maintain a healthy work-life balance with access to flexible working arrangements.
  5. Provide direct line management alongside the TPC Operational Manager for administrative staff.
  6. Oversee daily workflow of the TPC admin teams, including PAs, secretarial, and administrative staff.
  7. Develop and monitor protocols to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  8. Manage admin rotas effectively, escalating unresolved issues to the Operational Manager.
  9. Ensure staff understand contractual targets and their roles in achieving them.
  10. Build effective relationships with various teams including administrative, nursing, and management.
  11. Manage workload independently and ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements.
  12. Ensure admin staff are trained to handle calls appropriately and identify individual training needs.
  13. Participate in recruitment and staff induction, including organizing training sessions.
