Job summary

The Ministry of Justice is hiring an Operational Support Administrator within HM Courts & Tribunals Service, offering flexible working options and a clear progression path. This role supports central, operational and information functions while ensuring safety and service delivery across the justice system.

Applicants from Nigeria and other regions are welcome, with visa sponsorship available; the national salary is £25,582 (London £30,109).

Qualifications

• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with stakeholders and providing clear information and guidance.
• Strong written communication abilities, particularly for drafting responses to information requests and handling queries effectively.
• Proven project administration and support skills, capable of assisting with the delivery of national projects.
• Analytical skills to interpret performance data and provide insights for operational improvements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Office 365 tools, including Excel, Microsoft Teams, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Eligibility to work in the UK, either as a resident with existing right-to-work or by securing a Skilled Worker visa through sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality administrative and technical support across multiple functions within HM Courts & Tribunals Service.
• Support central operations, business continuity, operational performance, incident response and information requests.
• Assist with secretariat services, development of operational processes and maintenance of corporate databases.
• Present data and management information to support performance monitoring and decision making.
• Assist the Safety and Security Senior Manager with monitoring progress and reporting concerns.
