Job description

Job Title: Operational Services Supervisor

Hours: 37 hours - Any 4 & 5 day working patterns from any 7 days

Main Purpose: You will lead frontline services to residents of Wyre Forest, including Waste, Street Scene, and Parks Operations. Your role involves ensuring the area remains safe, clean, and visually appealing through inspections and resource deployment, particularly within Parks and Open Spaces.

You will be responsible for leading and directing the team to carry out works safely, following Health and Safety procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Operational Services to maintain a safe, clean, and well-managed environment through inspections and resource deployment.
  2. Oversee frontline deployment, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and staff are well-coordinated.
  3. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations, including training, risk assessments, PPE use, and safe operations.
  4. Supervise machinery and vehicle maintenance, manage equipment records, and monitor stock levels to support service efficiency.
  5. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve service delivery, income, and business growth.
  6. Maintain excellent customer service, demonstrating professionalism, adaptability, and commitment to service values.
