Job summary

Bimplus, a leading infrastructure services provider, is seeking an Operational Safety Advisor to support projects across Lanarkshire and promote best practice across operational teams.

You will work with site and management to maintain HSEQ standards, conduct audits, incident investigations, and deliver safety communications.

The ideal candidate holds a NEBOSH qualification, has civil engineering or infra experience, and a full UK driving licence, with strong reporting and stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH qualification essential.
• Experience in an operational environment.
• Civil engineering or infrastructure project experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of HSEQ objectives across operational projects.
• Provide practical health and safety advice to site teams and managers.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and safety observations.
• Assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Identify trends and recommend improvements to safety performance.
• Support risk assessments and implement effective control measures.
• Produce safety communications, reports and presentations.
• Keep teams informed of relevant legislation and industry best practice.
• Promote a proactive and positive safety culture throughout the business.
