Overview

You will act as a senior team member, providing 2nd line oversight and assurance to the business, building genuine partnerships and building key relationships in order to challenge effectively.

This is an ideal role for an Manager who like to take a hands on approach to their work.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Senior Stakeholders across the business to ensure key operational risks are identified and mitigated.
• Lead delivery of in-depth reviews of business operations and the surrounding control environment, particularly areas of change and growth.
• Support the team’s technical work including stress testing, scenario analysis, and operational risk quantification;
• Provide review, guidance and challenge to the Risk and Control Self-Assessments (‘RCSA’) process. Carrying out root cause analysis and overseeing 1st line remediation activity.
• Development and enhancement of the Operational Resilience, business continuity, and crisis management frameworks;
• Actively contribute to risk committees.

Qualifications

• Preferably 7+ years of relevant experience within Operational/Enterprise Risk.
• Experience working within Financial Services, ideally from an investment bank or asset manager.
