Base pay range

My client is a rapidly growing financial services organization looking to bring in an Operational Risk Manager to work closely with the business and provide proactive risk management across their capital markets and investment solution business.

Responsibilities:

• Lead risk assessments, control evaluations, and remediation of operational risks.
• Conduct root cause analyses and manage operational incidents to ensure swift resolution and continuous improvement.
• Develop and present risk reports, dashboards, and trend analyses to senior management.
• Promote a strong risk culture, fostering accountability and transparency.
• Oversee broker loss management, risk acceptance reviews, and governance forum participation.
• Enhance the Operational Risk Framework and support change initiatives, new business integration, and scenario analysis.
• Maintain strong cross-functional relationships with assurance and governance functions.

Experience & Skills:

• Extensive operational risk management experience, preferably in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of risk frameworks (Basel, COSO, ERM) and governance models.
• Proven data analysis, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Effective communicator with experience in challenging assumptions and influencing decisions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while promoting risk awareness and continuous improvement.
