NatWest Group in the United Kingdom is seeking an Operational Risk Manager in C&I Business Risk. You’ll act as SME for Level 2 and Level 3 Operational Risks, driving risk management, reporting and improvements. The role is hybrid with a 35-hour week and is based in Birmingham.
You’ll support RCSAs, issue management, risk assessments, and risk oversight across the franchise, working with Business Risk Partners and stakeholders to identify emerging risks and strengthen controls.
Join us in C&I Business Risk as an Operational Risk Manager
As our Operational Risk Manager, you’ll provide specialist risk management support to Business Risk Partners across Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), issue management and wider risk oversight activities. You’ll help strengthen the control environment and support effective risk management across the franchise. Working closely with Business Risk Partners and stakeholders across the business, you’ll help identify emerging risks, support risk assessments and drive continuous improvement.

You’ll have a strong understanding of the bank’s EWRMF framework, with experience applying risk management principles in practice. You’ll also need experience in Product & Transformation or Operations & Payments.
