We have an opportunity for a new Operational Procurement Officer to join our team in either Basingstoke or Wembley.

This is a full time permanent role, where you'll be working between the office and home.

The starting salary is £30,000 to £37,000 depending on your experience.

The role:

As a Operational Procurement Officer at SNG you'll be the initial point of contact for both internal and external procurement queries. You'll be managing the team inbox and ensuring that all operational matters are dealt with quickly and professionally.

The role will include managing our supplier onboarding process, working with other teams across the business including health and safety, finance and data protection to make sure the accompanying governance and compliance is met.

You'll also be supporting the Head of Procurement Compliance and Operational Procurement Manager with reporting, particularly around the new procurement act and Buying Behaviours.

What we're looking for:

You'll have a good knowledge and understanding of procurement processes combined with strong data analytic skills, including Power BI.

You'll also need:

• The ability to be tenacious, and follow things through
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• The ability to analyse, model and interpret data
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
