An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Co-ordinator to support a major integration programme within a leading UK higher education institution based in London. This institution has recently undergone a significant merger and is entering a transformative phase to integrate Estates, Facilities, and Environmental services across its campuses.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong commitment to delivering value through procurement, exceptional attention to detail, and a desire to support complex, high-impact programmes in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Procurement Act 2023 and/or public sector/Higher education experience is required

The Role

As Procurement Co-ordinator, you will:

Support the Procurement Category Manager (Estates, Facilities & Environment) on a wide range of tendering and supplier management activities.
Coordinate procurement functions to ensure compliance, value for money, and efficiency.
Help maintain supplier records and the contracts register, support low-value tendering and supplier creation, and provide administrative support across integration workstreams.
Promote compliance with procurement legislation, and the organisation’s values including sustainability, inclusion, and social value.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support an Estates Compliance Improvement Programme (ECIP) central to the integration process.

About You

You should have:

A degree or equivalent professional experience.
Strong Excel and general IT skills; familiarity with procurement systems (e.g. SAP, e-tendering portals) is desirable.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload independently.
A commitment to excellent customer service and the ability to work with colleagues at all levels.
An understanding of procurement processes, particularly within Estates, Facilities or the public sector, is desirable.
