This institution has recently undergone a significant merger and is entering a transformative phase to integrate Estates, Facilities, and Environmental services across its campuses.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong commitment to delivering value through procurement, exceptional attention to detail, and a desire to support complex, high-impact programmes in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

The Role

As Procurement Co-ordinator, you will:

  • Support the Procurement Category Manager (Estates, Facilities & Environment) on a wide range of tendering and supplier management activities.
  • Coordinate procurement functions to ensure compliance, value for money, and efficiency.
  • Help maintain supplier records and the contracts register, support low-value tendering and supplier creation, and provide administrative support across integration workstreams.
  • Promote compliance with procurement legislation, and the organisation’s values including sustainability, inclusion, and social value.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support an Estates Compliance Improvement Programme (ECIP) central to the integration process.

About You

You should have:

  • A degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong Excel and general IT skills; familiarity with procurement systems (e.g. SAP, e-tendering portals) is desirable.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload independently.
  • A commitment to excellent customer service and the ability to work with colleagues at all levels.
  • An understanding of procurement processes, particularly within Estates, Facilities or the public sector, is desirable.

Why Apply?

  • Competitive salary with excellent benefits including 30 days annual leave, plus public holidays and additional closure days.
  • Participation in a leading pension scheme.
  • A hybrid working model with a vibrant and supportive working culture.
  • A chance to play a key role in shaping the future of a major educational institution’s operational infrastructure.
