Job summary

Sussex Community Trust is seeking an Operational Lead to direct the UCR MDT, ensuring safe, high-quality community care across Sussex. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, balance budgets (pay and non-pay) within the financial envelope, and drive service development through supervision and quality initiatives.

You will lead staff development, allocate visits, and ensure performance targets are met, while promoting interagency collaboration and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification and/or relevant management experience.
• Evidence of continued professional development.
• Evidence of leadership education/development or willingness to undertake this.
• Management qualification or willingness to undertake.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UCR MDT to ensure safe, effective clinical care and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Oversee day-to-day team management to meet service outcomes and performance indicators.
• Develop the service through reflective practice, supervision and quality improvement initiatives.
• Manage staff, supervision, development, shift coordination, and performance reviews.
