Job summary

East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Head of Care Group to provide strategic, professional and operational leadership across a portfolio of services within the Emergency and Acute Care Group, spanning Eastbourne DGH and Conquest.

Working with Clinical Director and divisional leaders, you will drive performance, shape efficient clinical services, champion trust values, and oversee on-call rotas, staff development and service improvement.

Qualifications

• Masters level qualification or equivalent knowledge for role.
• Evidence of continuous professional and personal development relevant to role.
• Leadership/management qualification or training.
• Project Management and Quality Improvement qualification or training.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, professional and operational leadership across a portfolio of services within the Emergency and Acute Care Group.
• Drive performance, efficiency and continuous improvement across divisions.
• Promote trust values, support divisional and organisational priorities and deliver interim and on-going objectives.
• Participate in the Silver on-call rota and contribute to workforce development.
