Job summary

Eurocell is seeking an Accountant to join the Operational Finance team at Clover Nook, Somercotes. The role supports manufacturing operations with monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and robust financial reporting.

You will work with Planning, Production, Recycling and Logistics to translate business activity into financial insight, drive cost efficiencies, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes. The position is site-based with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• CIMA or ACCA qualified with strong academic credentials.
• Experience within a manufacturing/production environment.
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally IFS (Production and Finance modules).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident communicator able to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and support month-end activities including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
• Investigate variances across costs, budgets and forecasts; provide insight into performance.
• Produce KPI dashboards, financial commentary and management reports for leadership.
• Partner with operational teams to translate activities into financial insights and recommendations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, capital investment appraisals and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to drive efficiencies, reduce costs and improve financial/operational performance.
