Eurocell plc in Somercotes, Alfreton, is recruiting a Manufacturing Co-ordinator to support day-to-day manufacturing operations. Standard hours Monday to Friday 08:30–17:00 with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing, supply chain or production environment.
• Experience with Safety and Quality Management Systems and process control could be an advantage.
• Strong administration and coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow established safety procedures, risk assessments and SOPs to maintain a safe environment.
• Promote 5S standards, process confirmation audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as a key contact between shop floor teams and management; build communication channels across levels.
• Record meeting minutes and support meetings and diary management for Senior Management.
• Process manufacturing documentation accurately and within agreed timescales.
• Prepare information for monthly magazine/articles.
• Maintain and update records across systems with data integrity.
• Investigate discrepancies and take corrective action as required.
• Produce reports, schedules and summaries to support manufacturing activities.
• Liaise with suppliers and coordinate deliveries to meet operational needs.
• Track orders and expedite deliveries to minimise disruption.
• Resolve queries and coordinate activities with internal and external stakeholders.

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Manufacturing Coordinator to support in the day-to-day operation of our manufacturing function, based at our Clover Nook Site in Somercotes, Alfreton.

What Our Manufacturing Co-ordinators Do

• Follow established safety procedures, risk assessments, and SOPs to maintain a safe working environment
• Promote and support 5S standards, process confirmation audits and continuous improvement initiatives
• Act as a key point of contact between shop floor teams and management, build effective communication channels across all levels
• Accurately record meeting minutes and support Senior Management in the coordination and administration of meetings and diary management
• Process a wide range of manufacturing documentation accurately and within agreed timescales
• Prepare and provide information for articles for monthly newsletter
• Maintain and update records across business systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
• Investigate discrepancies, shortages and record variances, taking appropriate corrective action where required
• Produce reports, schedules and summaries to support manufacturing activities
• Liaise with suppliers and coordinate deliveries to meet operational requirements
• Track orders and expedite deliveries where necessary to minimise operational disruption
• Resolve queries and coordinate activities with internal and external stakeholders

What We Need From Our Manufacturing Co-ordinators

• Proven experience within a manufacturing, supply chain or production environment
• Previous experience working with Safety and Quality Management Systems and process control could be an advantage
• Strong administration and coordination experience
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
• Proven experience producing reports and working with operational data
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• ERP system knowledge or the ability to quickly learn new systems
• Experience working with budgets and cost control processes
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and operational performance measures
