We are delighted to be recruiting for an additional Accountant to join our growing finance team based at our Clover Nook site in Somercotes, Alfreton. Reporting to the Senior Manufacturing Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting skills.
• Confident communicator with ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Able to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in manufacturing/production environments is desirable.
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally IFS, in production and finance modules.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and perform month-end activities including accruals and reconciliations.
• Investigate variances across costs, budgets and forecasts and provide insights.
• Produce KPI dashboards, performance reports, and financial commentary for leadership.
• Partner with operational teams to translate activities into financial insights.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, capital investment appraisals, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to drive efficiencies and reduce costs.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis for key business projects.
