Eurocell is seeking an Accountant to join the Operational Finance team at Clover Nook, Somercotes. The role supports manufacturing operations with monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and robust financial reporting.

You will work with Planning, Production, Recycling and Logistics to translate business activity into financial insight, drive cost efficiencies, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes. The position is site-based with excellent benefits.

Competenze

• CIMA or ACCA qualified with strong academic credentials.
• Experience within a manufacturing/production environment.
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally IFS (Production and Finance modules).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident communicator able to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.

• Prepare monthly management accounts and support month-end activities including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
• Investigate variances across costs, budgets and forecasts; provide insight into performance.
• Produce KPI dashboards, financial commentary and management reports for leadership.

We are delighted to be recruiting for an additional Accountant to join our growing Operational Finance team based at our Clover Nook site in Somercotes, Alfreton.

Reporting to the Senior Manufacturing Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our manufacturing operations, working closely with stakeholders across Planning, Production, Recycling, and Logistics, delivering accurate financial reporting, robust performance analysis, and actionable recommendations to support operational and commercial success.

WHAT OUR ACCOUNTANTS DO:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, analyse financial performance, and support month-end activities including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
• Investigate and explain variances across costs, budgets, and forecasts, providing clear insight into business performance

• Partner with operational teams to translate business activities into meaningful financial insights and recommendations

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR ACCOUNTANTS:

• CIMA or ACCA qualified, with strong academic credentials
• Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally IFS (Production and Finance modules)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Confident communicator, able to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently using your own initiative
• Strong team player with the ability to build effective working relationships
• Able to prioritise workload and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
