Johnson Matthey is seeking an Operational Excellence SWAT Specialist to drive high‑value improvement initiatives on a site‑based role with global reach in West Chester, PA. The role focuses on transforming operations, linking actions to P&L impact, and delivering measurable financial results.

You will lead cross‑functional programs, apply advanced analytics, and influence senior stakeholders to ensure disciplined execution and sustainable performance improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering operational excellence, transformation or consulting initiatives in complex environments.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to link operational actions to P&L and cash outcomes.
• Advanced analytical and structured problem‑solving capabilities, using data to drive decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional programmes and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong programme and project management skills with a focus on execution and results.
• Ability to adapt quickly and operate in high‑impact, ambiguous situations.

Location: Site-based with global reach West Chester PA.

The role:

• Identifying and prioritising high‑value improvement opportunities that significantly enhance P&L performance and cash generation
• Leading targeted operational excellence programmes from diagnosis through to implementation and results delivery
• Conducting detailed analysis to uncover root causes and translate insights into clear, actionable improvement plans
• Partnering with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams to align on priorities and deliver measurable outcomes
• Driving disciplined execution of initiatives, ensuring accountability and sustainable performance improvements
• Monitoring and validating financial impact in collaboration with Finance to ensure real, trackable value delivery
