Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Senior Manager, Operational Excellence (PPI) to join the UK Clinical Trials Business Site Leadership Team. You will drive operational excellence, productivity, organisational effectiveness and business transformation across the site in a highly regulated environment.

You will translate strategy into actionable plans, lead cross-functional improvement initiatives, and deliver measurable, sustainable benefits through structured problem-solving and change

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
• Significant leadership experience in Operational Excellence or transformation.
• Proven track record delivering measurable improvements in complex organisations.
• Experience owning productivity, cost savings, or transformation portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UK Clinical Trials Business Site Leadership Team and contribute to strategy.
• Own productivity strategy, cultural transformation, and multi-year cost savings roadmap.
• Deploy PPI Business System; drive cross-functional improvements and performance.
• Lead change initiatives and organisational enablement with senior stakeholders.
• Foster AI, automation, analytics and digital transformation opportunities.
• Develop capability, coach leaders, and promote continuous improvement.
