This is an established, niche insurer offering such opportunities.

This is a fully remote role with the ability to work from home every day.

As part of the 2nd line of defense, you’ll partner with 1st line operations across Claims, Underwriting, and Distribution to support risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring activities.

You’ll oversee and challenge 1st line risk management processes, controls, and decision-making, focusing on operational and conduct risks. You’ll help enhance and implement the company’s risk management framework, lead RCSAs, develop risk assessments, and monitor risk appetite with 1st line stakeholders.

You’ll assist in preparing and delivering risk and compliance reports to senior management, Board committees, and regulatory bodies as needed.

There is ample scope to personalize the role, and you’ll be encouraged to challenge the status quo and develop the company’s risk culture.

We seek an experienced Risk professional from the Financial Services sector, ideally with broad Risk experience across multiple disciplines including Operational and Conduct Risk. Previous Insurance experience is advantageous but not essential.

You should have experience developing risk assessments and executing RCSAs, possess an analytical mindset, curiosity, and a willingness to learn and grow. Excellent communication skills are essential.
