Opportunity for Risk Professional in a Niche Insurer

Are you seeking greater flexibility to work from home?

This established, niche insurer offers such opportunities.

This is a fully remote role, allowing you to work from home every day.

Within 2nd line, you’ll collaborate with 1st line operations across Claims, Underwriting, and Distribution to support risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring.

You’ll oversee and challenge 1st line risk management processes, controls, and decision-making, focusing on operational and conduct risks. You’ll help enhance and implement the company’s risk management framework, lead RCSAs, develop risk assessments, and monitor risk appetite with stakeholders.

You will assist in preparing and delivering risk and compliance reports to senior management, Board committees, and regulators as needed.

There is ample scope to shape the role and you’ll be encouraged to challenge the status quo, fostering a strong risk culture.

Ideal candidates are experienced Risk professionals from the Financial Services sector, with broad Risk experience across disciplines such as Operational and Conduct Risk. Previous Insurance experience is advantageous but not essential.

You should have experience developing risk assessments, executing RCSAs, and possess an analytical, curious mindset with a willingness to learn. Excellent communication skills are essential.
