This is an established, niche insurer offering a fully remote role. You can work from home every day.

As a Risk Manager sitting within the 2nd line, you’ll partner with 1st line operations across Claims, Underwriting, and Distribution to support risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring activities.

You’ll oversee and challenge 1st line risk management processes, controls, and decision-making, especially regarding operational and conduct risks. You’ll help enhance and execute the company’s risk management framework, lead RCSAs, develop risk assessments, and monitor risk appetite with stakeholders.

You’ll assist in preparing and delivering risk and compliance reports to senior management, Board committees, and regulatory bodies as needed.

This role offers scope for personal initiative and encourages continuous challenge to improve risk culture across the business.

We seek an experienced Risk professional from the Financial Services sector, ideally with broad Risk experience across disciplines like Operational and Conduct Risk. Insurance experience is advantageous but not essential.

Applicants should have experience developing risk assessments, executing RCSAs, and possess analytical, curious, and eager-to-learn qualities. Excellent communication skills are essential.
