This established, niche insurer offers a fully remote role, allowing you to work from home every day.
As part of the 2nd line of defense, you’ll collaborate with 1st line operations across Claims, Underwriting, and Distribution to support risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring activities.
You’ll oversee and challenge 1st line risk management processes, controls, and decisions related to operational and conduct risk. You’ll help enhance and implement the company’s risk management framework, lead RCSAs, develop risk assessments, and monitor risk appetite with stakeholders.
You will assist in preparing and delivering risk and compliance reports to senior management, Board committees, and regulatory bodies as needed.
This role offers scope for personal initiative and encourages ongoing challenge to improve the risk culture within the business.
Ideal candidates will be experienced Risk professionals from the Financial Services sector, with broad risk experience across multiple disciplines, including Operational and Conduct Risk. Previous insurance experience is advantageous but not essential.
You should have experience developing risk assessments, executing RCSAs, and possess an analytical mindset, curiosity, and eagerness to learn. Excellent communication skills are essential.
