OutSystems Software Engineer Opportunity

An innovative company is seeking an OutSystems Software Engineer, ideally based in London or remotely within the UK, to join their Software Engineering Team. The role involves developing their OutSystems platform, with a focus on innovation and enhancing software solutions within a lean, agile environment. Due to weekend release cycles, support may be required at least once a month on a rota basis. For candidates near Central London, a hybrid model of three days onsite and two days remote is preferred; further afield candidates may be considered for full remote work.

As an OutSystems Software Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing trading systems, as well as developing live updates, pricing reports, and user interfaces. Collaboration with business users and stakeholders is essential to gather requirements and obtain sign-off. Proficiency in full-stack Microsoft technologies, especially C#, is required to develop, test, and deliver solutions.

Role Details

• Must have at least five years of experience in low-code application development using the OutSystems platform.

• Good knowledge of relational databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and functions.
• Experience in capturing end-user requirements and working closely with business users.
• Bright, collaborative, and proactive problem solver.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer, Electrical, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Contract Details

Type: Permanent

Salary: Up to £90,000 depending on experience, plus discretionary bonus.

Location: London-based or remote across the UK.
