OutSystems Systems Software Engineer

An innovative company is seeking an OutSystems Software Engineer, ideally based in Warrington or remotely in the UK, to join their Software Engineering Team to develop their OutSystems platform. The role involves working in a lean, agile environment, with support responsibilities approximately once a month due to release cycles. The company offers hybrid working, with options for onsite and remote work depending on location.

The OutSystems Software Engineer will analyze, design, and implement trading systems, as well as develop live updates, pricing reports, and screens. Collaboration with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and obtain signoff is essential. The role requires experience with the full stack of Microsoft solutions and C# development. There is significant scope for innovation and personal growth within the team.

Requirements:

• At least five years of low-code application development using the OutSystems platform.
• Fundamentals in C# and full-stack software engineering.
• Good understanding of relational databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server, with skills in database design, SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and functions.
• Experience in capturing end-user requirements and working with business users.
• Bright, collaborative, with a proactive problem-solving attitude.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering or a related field.

Contract details:

Permanent contract with a salary up to £90k, depending on experience, plus discretionary bonus.

Location: Warrington, Cheshire, or remote across the UK.
