Job summary

Loungers is hiring an Assistant Manager for Croeso Lounge, a brand-new site within one of the UK's leading casual dining groups. You will lead shifts, coach the team, and ensure guests leave happy while reporting to the General Manager.

The position offers progression opportunities as part of a growing hospitality brand. This permanent full-time role includes a 48-hour contract (with a 40-hour option), overtime pay, and a structured bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in hospitality and team supervision.
• Strong guest service orientation and conflict resolution.
• Experience working in fast-paced restaurant environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts, brief the team, and delegate tasks.
• Coach staff with feedback to maintain high standards.
• Manage rotas, labour, and KPIs while supporting the General Manager.
• Handle customer complaints with good judgement and maintain food safety.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of new starters.
• Be a welcoming host and reinforce the Lounges reputation.
