Job summary

Loungers is hiring an Assistant Manager to support the team at Remo Lounge, a brand-new site within the group. This is a full-time role offering a competitive base salary, a bonus scheme, overtime pay and clear progression opportunities.

You will lead shifts, support your GM, engage the team, and ensure every guest leaves happy. This is your chance to join one of the UK’s leading hospitality groups and grow with us.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality as Supervisor/Assistant Manager or similar.
• Proven ability to manage shifts and cash handling.
• Strong customer service and staff development.
• Experience in restaurants/bars/cafes desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts (opens/closes/weekends) and delegate to your team while keeping them motivated.
• Coach team through regular feedback to foster a positive work environment.
• Understand rotas, labour, KPIs, and support the General Manager to improve results.
• Handle escalated customer complaints with good judgement and maintain standards.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of new starters to get them productive from day one.
• Be a welcoming host on the floor and help build Lounges' local reputation.
