Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a capable Project Manager to lead Civils activities on our Water Rehabilitation contract from the Worsley Head Office. You will manage end-to-end delivery, lead a team, coordinate with the Contract Manager, and ensure safety, budget and programme targets are met.

The role requires strong IT system knowledge, supervisory credentials, and a track record in utilities projects. Excellent communication, driving licence, and ability to drive continuous improvement are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and leadership experience in Civils or utilities projects.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to operate on-site in a busy contractor environment.
• Experience in project management with a focus on cost control, safety and delivery to programme.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team, delegate and set clear delivery targets.
• Be responsible for P&L and budget adherence across the Network Plus contract.
• Coordinate with programme and street works teams to maintain schedule and inform the programme manager of delays or ahead-of-schedule work.
• Drive efficient work methods and implement improvements; own project processes and handover procedures.
• Ensure on-site H&S folders, CPPs, utility plans, and related documents are up-to-date.
• Lead safety incident investigations and address poor behaviours; close non-conformances promptly.
• Monitor streetworks performance, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain client and operational requirements with professionalism and efficiency.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports and ensure service levels and KPIs are met.
• Ensure Supervisors/Operatives have required training and competencies.
