Job summary

United Utilities in the UK seeks a Further Work Resolution Technician to act as the essential link between works promoters and Alliance Partners, ensuring further works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards on site.

You will own customer-impacting activities, promote innovative trenchless methods where possible, and support compliance with Health & Safety, Quality, Environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Qualifications include an HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of sewer network operations and regulatory requirements.
• Hands-on civils and wastewater operational experience (excavation, trenching, CCTV, jetting).

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between works promoters and Alliance Partners to ensure effective delivery.
• Own on-site customer-impacting activities and resolve issues quickly.
• Promote trenchless technologies to minimise excavation and costs.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Quality, Environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Be Responsible Person for Health & Safety on site activities.
• Represent Wastewater Network Operations to ensure assets meet specification.
• Provide technical guidance to UU and Partner teams.
• Build relationships with authorities, contractors and stakeholders.
• Monitor KPIs and drive improvements.
• Custodian of wastewater network and asset integrity.
