Job summary

First Recruitment Group is seeking an organised Onsite Coordinator to support workforce readiness, training coordination, and contractor management across our client’s operations in the United Kingdom.

The role involves coordinating safety training (GWO, MEWP, Forklift, Telehandler, medicals), maintaining records in Smartsheet and Excel, and ensuring compliance with site access and workforce policies. Close collaboration with Resource Managers, PMO and Training teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Coordinate training plans for new hires with Resource Managers, PMO, and Training teams.
• Lead weekly training meetings and support monthly contractor meetings.
• Organise internal and external training requirements (GWO, MEWP, Forklift, Telehandler, medicals, site training).
• Maintain workforce and contractor records in Smartsheet and Excel.
• Raise and monitor training-related purchase orders.
• Support contractor onboarding and day-to-day site coordination.
• Collaborate with external providers and stakeholders to ensure compliance and readiness.
• Experience in Coordinator, Training Administrator, Workforce Support, or Contractor Management.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Teams; ability to multitask.
• Experience in Wind, Renewable Energy, Offshore, Construction, Manufacturing, or Industrial sectors.
• GWO, medicals, site access, and workforce compliance knowledge.
• Experience using Smartsheet.
