Job summary

Bachy Soletanche is seeking an organised Training Coordinator to support training and competence management across a major UK project. You will coordinate training activities, ensure compliance, and advise HR and site leaders on competence requirements to keep workforce readiness high.

In this regulated, safety‑critical setting, you’ll monitor records, drive improvements, and collaborate with partners to align training with mobilisation timelines and project standards.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 3–5 in Learning & Development or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a regulated, safety‑critical, construction or project environment.
• Experience coordinating training, delivery or compliance in an operational setting.
• Understanding of competence, qualification and certification management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to advise and influence.
• Well‑organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confident IT skills including Microsoft Office and training systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key point of contact for training requirements and translate needs into clear plans.
• Coordinate delivery with mobilisation timelines and liaise with external providers.
• Monitor training compliance, qualifications and certifications; identify gaps and risks.
• Provide guidance to managers on training requirements and support regular progress reporting.
• Contribute to improving training processes, systems and documentation.
