Job summary

Makita UK is seeking an Innovation On Site Specialist to promote and demonstrate our range of industrial tools across your designated territory in the United Kingdom. You will build strong relationships with end users and distributors, deliver engaging product demonstrations and training, and report on market trends and customer feedback to the Regional Sales Manager.

You will manage your own demo kit and sales materials, identify opportunities, and represent Makita at trade shows and events

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience within tools, construction, or outdoor power equipment.
• Passion for tools and technology, with curiosity about industry trends.
• Strong knowledge of power tools, cordless and outdoor equipment.
• Customer-centric mindset with ability to build relationships and identify opportunities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Organised and efficient with good time management.
• UK driving licence and willingness to travel within territory, including some overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Relationship building with end users and distributors to ensure loyalty.
• Conducting product demonstrations and training sessions for distributors and end users.
• Reporting on end-user activity, market trends, and feedback to Regional Sales Manager.
• Managing your own demonstration kit and sales materials.
• Identifying end-user opportunities within your designated area.
• Representing Makita at trade shows, exhibitions, and product evaluation days.
• Regular live call activity and mileage reporting on the app-based system.
