Raytheon UK is seeking a hands-on Technical Support & Sustainment Engineer to join our Malvern team, supporting complex IT systems used in defense and national security. You will build, test, deploy, sustain, and upgrade multi-server environments, and travel within the UK and overseas as needed.

This role offers broad exposure to Microsoft and Linux platforms, Active Directory, networking and storage, with opportunities to influence continuous improvement and lean activities while ensuring

Qualifications

• Experience in IT systems and system administration.
• Able to configure and maintain multi-server multi-client environments.
• Willing to travel within the UK and overseas.
• Able to obtain UK security clearance (SC minimum).

Responsabilités

• Provide technical support and sustainment for deployed systems, ensuring reliability and compliance with processes and quality standards (AS9100).
• Support programs during the build phase: hardware assembly, software installation, configuration.
• Plan and carry out testing on new and upgraded systems: IT, FAT, SAT.
• Provide office-based support to customers by phone/email, some out-of-hours support.
• Travel within the UK and overseas to deliver, commission, upgrade, diagnose and resolve issues.
• Work across Microsoft, Linux, Active Directory, networking, storage, and virtualization.
• Maintain local replicas of customer systems for troubleshooting and testing.
• Demonstrate software and systems to customers and contribute to improvements.
