Job summary

Raytheon UK in the defence and aerospace sector is seeking a Test Engineer to join our software dev function in Gloucester, Manchester or London, onsite only. You will work in a cross-functional team delivering and deploying critical software across multiple business areas, with eDV clearance required.

As part of our DevSecOps driven environment, you will contribute to automated test frameworks, test plans and deployment strategies, collaborating closely with customers and suppliers to ensure

Qualifications

• Experience in Agile/Scrum/DevOps delivery.
• Experience deploying and configuring complex software on Linux/Windows.
• Understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle and test methodologies.
• Experience producing test plans and reports using applicable tools.

Responsibilities

• Apply test skills and experience within the context of an Agile software delivery team.
• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of automated test frameworks.
• Define and manage test environments; create and manage test data; define and manage test tools.
• Support test team interactions with the wider development team and assist in the resolution of issues.
• Contribute to the production of test documents using appropriate tools as required.
• Raise defects and support the wider development team in their resolution.
• Manage creation of automated and manual test scripts.
• Produce test and deployment strategies and plans in compliance with customer project guidelines.
