Randstad CPE is recruiting a Site Manager in North Wales to take day‑to‑day control of civil works for a major substation project. You will lead civil engineering teams and subcontractors on live infrastructure, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence on site.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will drive site operations, manage constraints, and maintain accurate diaries and documentation while upholding RAMS and client regulations throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• National Grid competencies: NG Person / BAF / TP137 or equivalent site clearance.
• Civil engineering background with heavy civils on substations or energy schemes.
• Valid CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid at Work.
• Based in North Wales / commutable with full UK driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Direct daily site operations, workforce management and subcontractor delivery to keep the lookahead on track.
• Oversee civil delivery: groundworks, heavy foundations, RC structures, cable ducts and site access.
• Enforce HSEQ and National Grid standards; lead daily briefings and RAMS adherence.
• Coordinate specialist supply chain partners and site logistics; maintain daily diary and changes.
• Present the main contractor face on site and report scope changes accurately.
